Flying cheater cars terrorize CoD Warzone – “I can’t believe what I’m seeing”

The free battle royale Call of Duty: Warzone attracts cheaters like a warm light attracts bustling insects. That’s why there are always absurd gameplay scenes in the game. The latest cheater trend are flying cars.

This is the situation:

• Large, free shooters attract many cheaters – including Call of Duty: Warzone
• A new anti-cheat system has been developed and introduced – RICOCHET
• Nevertheless, there are still cheaters and some of them fly over the map with vehicles

Planes are actually reserved for Warzone’s Vanguard modes. But that can’t stop cheaters. They also jet through the normal Battle Royale with their special “homemade” aviator models.

RICOCHET is an analysis tool, not a ban engine

Why are there more cheaters in Warzone? With RICOCHET, the Battle Royale relies on a kernel driver on the PC that examines interactions between CoD programs and other software with high system authorizations.

However, the developers have stated that this driver is an analysis tool.

This driver is not officially designed to actively ban players. The program examines cheater PCs, determines the software interactions and the detected processes on a PC from a caught cheater can help to discover other cheaters.

However, the developers don’t let themselves be looked at completely in anti-cheat cards. Any detailed information about how the system works, in turn, helps cheaters somehow circumvent the measures.

Unfortunately, cheaters remain a problem in the Warzone. Many players see an improvement compared to before the new anti-cheat system. Others say there has been little or no improvement.

The developers write that the system is getting better every day. It learns more about cheat software with every cheater it catches, and also helps catch brazen cheaters in flying vehicles.

The expectations of the system were high and unfortunately the new anti-cheat approaches were not always convincing. Whether RICOCHET can finally solve the cheater problem remains to be seen in the coming months.
