The iPhone SE 3 begins manufacturing for an April or May release

Without a big redesign but with 5G, the iPhone SE 3 could arrive this spring!

The most reliable sources in the industry continue to bet on the launch of the third generation iPhone SE in 2022. This time, the rumors come from some members of the supply chain who have confirmed the start of production of panels for the screen of the iPhone SE 3

According to display industry analyst Ross Young of Display Supply Chain Consultants, this step suggests that the iPhone SE 3 could be launched between the last week of April and the beginning of May. This schedule would coincide with previous iPhone SE releases, in the spring. The original model was presented in March 2016 and the launch of the second generation model in April 2020.

Production of the iPhone SE with 5G begins

This information is similar to data shared by other Apple analysts, such as Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, who said that Apple currently aims to make a virtual event in March or April to announce the iPhone SE 3. Also expected to be announced a new iPad Air in this event.

According to the latest data the new iPhone SE 3 could be visually identical to the current iPhone SE. That is, with a design based on the iPhone 8, with a 4.7-inch screen, home button and Touch ID. Changes this time around are expected to come in the form of 5G connectivity and a new A15 chip inside. Thus, it would become the most affordable with 5G support and could be the cause of converting a billion users from Android to iOS.
