Destiny 2: Xur Today – Location and Offer on 1/21

Xur, Destiny 2’s shopping master, pays you another visit today. His range is becoming more and more extensive and even expanded again for Witch Queen. But it will take a while until then. That’s why we’re going to tell you what the universal visitor is selling this week.

What happened in Destiny 2 this week? Bungie is making some changes ahead of Witch Queen that players have been hoping for for a long time. Not only that Master Rahool will soon be able to decode Umbral engrams. The problem with those pesky blue engrams will soon be different.

In addition, the reputation system of Banshee-44 will be adjusted. Gunsmith materials and those pesky mod components go away. So make sure you get rid of them before Witch Queen.

This week Bungie also announced the new power level for Witch Queen. There’s a lot to level up again as the Guardians make their way to renewed strength. The level caps are tough and popular exotics with catalysts will also find their way back into the game.

Many changes should ultimately ensure that players have more space in the vault without Bungie having to increase the number of 500 slots in the vault.

When is Xur coming? Xur will set up camp at a random location every Friday for the daily reset at 6pm. He sells you interesting things more and more often before he makes the turn again next Tuesday for the weekly reset at 6 p.m.

Trials of Osiris on 01/21 – 01/25. – Map, weapons and info

Bungie previously changed the rotation of PvP modes so that trials are not held when an Iron Banner is active. So after last week’s Iron Banner event, tonight the Trials return to Destiny 2.

Which map is it this week? This is only known tonight – so check it out again.

How to get your loot: In the past you could earn your loot in the trials with three, five and seven wins. But that’s different now. Now there are the rewards for:

• Seven wins
• 50 rounds
• as well as the infamous flawless run that leads you to the lighthouse

This is the reward for a flawless run: A special weapon is available as a master version every week. However, this will only be announced after the reset.

Once you have obtained your desired weapon, you can focus your testing engrams on it. On top there are Enhancement Prisms and Ascendant Fragments. Keep in mind that once you have a complete pass, your reward increases even more – even if you lose a game or two.

When do the trials start? The trials start as usual at the daily reset at 6:00 p.m.
