Netflix confirms that there will be a second season of The Squid Game and a whole universe of content is being prepared

Netflix has confirmed what has been rumored for a long time and The Squid Game will continue after its unparalleled success.

The success of The Squid Game has been something unusual on Netflix: it has been crowned the most watched series in the history of the platform and in general it has conquered everyone, public and critics. For months it seemed only the series was talked about everywhere. This aroused from the beginning many questions about a possible continuation that have been resolved a few hours ago.

Little is going to be said about the presentation of the results of the fourth quarter of 2021 of Netflix that has been held and a lot about the words of Ted Sarandos, co-CEO and director of content of the company. He could not have been more explicit on the subject.

Nidhi Gupta, from Fidelity Management and Research, asked Sarandos about that second season, if viewers would have it, and he replied that “Absolutely“, it’s more: “The universe of The Squid Game has just begun”, has collected The Verge.
