Although the name of the new Witch Queen raid is not yet known, Bungie has already given players a specific start date for the raid. Times are important information, especially for World’s First hunters.

These are the important raid times:

  • On Saturday, March 5th, 2022, the new raid will go online
  • At 7 p.m. the starting signal for the raid race will be given

The latest expansion of Destiny 2 will be released on February 2nd, 2022. This gives players more than enough time to plan a possible raid vacation and, above all, to set up a well-rehearsed World’s First team for the raid.

As soon as the raid starts, the best teams in the Destiny 2 community will once again set out to complete it first. The World’s First race has long been something of a mini world championship for the Destiny 2 PvE elite.

The raid will also be in so-called competition mode for the first 24 hours, which makes the challenge even harder. In the past, the rules for this were as follows:

  • In Competitive Mode, participating players will have their power reduced 20 levels below the raid’s recommended power for 24 hours.
  • The artefact power is mostly deactivated in competition mode, so it didn’t bring any power plus.
The PvE elite plan early to win the raid race

As soon as Witch-Queen is released, the raid teams’ run to the necessary power level begins again. Bungie usually publishes the exact conditions of participation and the required raid power shortly before the start of the new expansion.

The winning team will be rewarded with a glorious champion’s belt, a unique emblem, and Bungie’s recognition of outstanding achievement.
