Rainbow Six Extraction: Level up quickly – this is how you rise in rank faster

These tips will help you progress faster in Rainbow Six Extraction.

In Rainbow Six Extraction, up to three operators must face an alien invasion in the United States and complete different mission objectives in four areas. For completing goals and various other things, you collect experience points, which then flow into the overall rank and unlock additional operators, REACT tech brands (for buying new items) or locations, among other things. At the same time, you also level up your currently active operator, who will then also be given new bonuses such as an improved special ability as the rank increases.

In general, the progression rate in Rainbow Six Extraction is not particularly slow, but with a few small tips you can still level up faster and thus reach the upper ranks at a slightly faster pace.

1. Be careful!
   In general, Rainbow Six Extraction Stealth is the order of the day, if you shoot wildly, you hardly see any land in the missions. And not only that: If you proceed carefully, you will also be properly rewarded in terms of EP. If you don’t let yourself be discovered by opponents, catch weak points or mark opponents for the team via scan or ping, you’ll bag significantly more XP – sometimes almost three times as much – than in Rambo style. Ideally, move through the areas in a crouching position and try not to be discovered.
2. Do the studies!
   Studies are small side quests in Rainbow Six Extraction that are easy to overlook, but can still provide quick XP boosts because they’re often easy to complete. You can find currently active studies when selecting the area of ​​application under “Studies”. For example, you need to kill enemies with a specific weapon attachment, ping enemies, or get multiple kills in a given amount of time. This can be done wonderfully during an operation and spits out a surprising number of XP, especially in the later levels – for a completed study in the fourth area, Truth & Consequences, you will be rewarded with 20,000 XP, for example. Important: You must first complete the three studies of a level before the next one is unlocked.
3. Play on higher difficulties and later Maelstrom Protocol mode!
   Possibly a self-evident tip, but we want to point out that you will be rewarded accordingly at higher levels. For example, already on the second level of difficulty you get 50% more XP, on the third level it’s even 100%. So if you really want to level up quickly, sooner or later you won’t be able to avoid the more challenging levels.
   The same applies to the endgame mode ‘Malstrom Protocol’. It is unlocked at level 16 and sends you on longer missions (9 areas). The XP rewards are correspondingly high if you are successful, with 50,000 XP or even more waving per use.
4. If you are unsure whether you can still create an area: better extract!
   Not only in the general procedure, but also in the decision “Continue or out?” caution in extraction is often a good guide. Especially when one or more of your operators are badly hit, it’s often worth flying out and starting a new round right away than risking a loss in the next area. Because: At the end of a round, there is another 30% XP bonus for each operator flown out, ideally another 90%. You should definitely not leave this bonus behind and always make sure that all operators get home safely.
5. Agree on who takes which operator and what skills/gadgets you need based on the missions!
   Once you are a little more familiar with the goals and abilities of the operators, it is advisable to tailor the individual special maneuvers of the task forces to the mission objectives at hand, as some operators are particularly well suited to certain objectives. This is not only extremely satisfying when playing, but above all ensures efficiency. Because this way, goals can be processed faster and more easily, the risk of failure is lower and you will be able to complete all three areas much more often – and faster. In order to start the game all over again the next time.

With these general tips, you should be able to achieve a decent pace of progression through the overall and operator tiers. In general, the operators level up to level 10 and the overall rank up to 30, which should be done relatively quickly compared to other games of this type.
