It is considered that there is a Tesla Cybertruck of different sizes

It seems that in March the production version of the Tesla Cybertruck will be presented, which will also be sold in two different sizes, with a smaller variant.

The presentation of Tesla Cybertruck It was one of the most picturesque moments in the history of Tesla (which is already saying), because it did not go well at all. However, it took place in November 2019 and since then not much more has been known about the model. Apparently next month March this could change.

Trip Chowdry, an analyst and expert on Tesla, has recently pointed out that in said month the American company will present a production version of the model… which theoretically will not be offered in one but in two sizes.

It is something that one’s own Elon Musk has commented on occasion, noting that it might make sense to launch a scale variant of the Cybertruck long-term to complement the range.

The movement would make sense, since the pick-up is a mass of 5,885 mm in length, 2,027 mm in width and 1,905 mm in height; measures that on the wide roads of the United States do not pose much of a problem, but that would be somewhat fair in European cities.

This second variant of the truck would have, according to Chowdry, a size between 15 and 20% smaller, which would make it much more manageable, but would trace the design of the big one, which would have a series of significant changes compared to the prototype seen now more than two years ago.

The bodies of both versions would be manufactured in the same plant, the one that Steel Dynamics has in Texas, just 160 kilometers from the Gigafactoría of Tesla.

If what he claims is true, this would mean being closer to the definitive arrival of the Tesla Cybertruck on the street, although it is something that will still take some time. The latest reports point to a start of production at the end of the year, sales in early 2023 and deliveries in the following months.
