Huawei has just kicked off its launches for 2022. The Chinese firm did not want to let January pass without announce the arrival in Spain of its new batch of devices, three, neither more nor less. We are talking about the Huawei P50 Pro (presented in China in July of last year), the Huawei P50 Pocket (its first clamshell foldable) and the Huawei Watch GT Runner.

These devices can be purchased from January 26 and then we will see their official prices in euros. We will start talking about smartphones, of which it should be noted that they arrive again without the ecosystem of Google applications and, later, we will address everything that the new Chinese smartwatch offers. Huawei is not new in the field of folding mobiles, but it is in clamshell folding, a path that has been marked by Samsung and Motorola. His first folding mobile of this format is the Huawei P50 Pocket, announced in December last year. It is a terminal that incorporates a 21:9 inner screen and a small outer screen to display notifications and interact with the device without having to open it.

The device folds thanks to a flexible OLED panel and a hinge called Multi-Dimensional. Unlike Huawei’s previous foldables, this hinge has a shorter radius, allowing for no gap between modules. It is made up of more than 100 high-precision parts and, according to Huawei, has 62% more impact resistance than previous generations.

The third and last product that Huawei has brought to Spain has been its most recent addition to the wearables catalog: the Huawei Watch GT Runner. As its name and finish suggest, it is a watch with a clear sports vocation that stands out for being light, having an integrated GPS chip, an intelligent program for running and two weeks of battery life.

The Huawei Watch GT Runner has a 46.4 millimeter polymer fiber case, as well as a thickness of 11 millimeters. It weighs 38.5 grams without the strap, which is made of silicone and is 140-210 millimeters in size. It has two buttons on the right side, the upper one being a digital crown made of titanium.
