Oops! ESO accidentally showed the new chapter name and content

The new chapter of MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online awaits us this summer. Tonight is Bethesda’s related announcement event. But on Twitter there was unplanned news in advance about the content that awaits us this year.

When is the announcement event? Official and detailed news is available today, January 27, 2022 at 9 p.m. on the official Bethesda channel (via. Twitch).

But a Twitter post already gives us some new information in advance. The post was also removed a short time later, but of course it didn’t go unnoticed and was shared by ESO fans.

What is this post? The post is actually titled “Bethesda Gear Store Giveaway.” But you can already see a few spoilers for the new chapter from the items advertised in the giveaway.

Before we begin, check out our 3 exciting clues about what’s new in ESO content for 2022.

That’s what the Twitter post about the new ESO Chapter tells us

On some items in the giveaway picture you can see the name of the new chapter, among other things:

High Isle” – reads this. So it’s clear: This year we’re going away from the mainland to an island. You could guess that from the teaser that was published on January 5th, but nothing was certain yet. It could have been a coastal region of the mainland as well.

There is also some new information about the person, who can also be seen in the teaser. In the video, a person in armor is seen climbing a stone staircase. Once at the top, it looks out onto a stormy sea. It is probably located at the vantage point of a castle.

The Twitter post lists a character for the giveaway. Below the figure shown you can see the writing “Ascendant Lord Statue with Letter Opener” recognize. This gives us more information about the identity of the character already known from the teaser. So it is an “Ascendant Lord”, which means something like “ascending Lord”. So it’s obvious that it might be about conquests? For how else should our “lord” ascend?

What do you say to that? If you want to know exactly what the post looks like, you can also check it out for yourself because NefasQS (ESO Stream Team Member) managed to save the post for anyone curious.
