Skydance Animation’s Animated Movie Luck to Premiere on Apple TV+ in August
Apple TV+ presents the story of the unluckiest person in the world!
Since its launch in 2019, Apple TV + has included animated content in its offer, part of which has even received recognition from specialized critics. To this list will be added Luck on August 5, 2022. The film represents the first production of a partnership between Apple TV+ and Skydance Animation, as part of a deal that includes several animated films and series, such as “Spellbound” and “The Search for WondLa.”
Skydance Animation’s film will be the second animated feature film on Apple TV+ and will feature the participation of experienced actresses Jane Fonda, Whoopi Goldberg, interpreting the voices of the characters, alongside other stars such as Eva Noblezada and Simon Pegg.
Luck arrives August 5 on Apple TV +
The winner of an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony, Whoopi Goldberg, plays the head of security of Land of Luck, while the two-time Academy Award winner, Jane Fonda, voices a dragon who is CEO of Good Luck. Eva Noblezada voices Sam, and Simon Pegg plays Bob., a lucky black cat that helps in the adventure.
As announced from the presentation of the project, Luck tells the story of Sam Greenfield, the unluckiest person in the world. After growing old outside foster care, he discovers the Land of Luck and must join the magical creatures there to change his luck.
