Pokémon GO launches event next week with promo codes and YouTubers

Things will get interesting for you in Pokémon GO on February 4th, when there will be an event running during the Mobile Games Show that will provide you with promo codes. We’ll show you here what we know about the gifts and when you should be there.

What is this event? The first “Mobile Games Show” starts on February 4th and Pokémon GO is one of the games that will be in the spotlight. Well-known YouTubers compete against each other at the event. It’s all accompanied by balloons giving you gifts for a week and a broadcast showing promo codes.

Mobile Games Show mit Pokémon GO

When are gift balloons coming? From Monday January 31st to Friday February 4th a balloon will bring you presents in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). It is not yet clear what the content of the presents is.

When are promo codes available? On February 4th at 6:00 p.m. the Mobile Games Show will start broadcasting on Twitch and YouTube. The press release states that during the show, codes will be shared again and again in the YouTube live stream that will bring you smoke, lock modules and PokéBalls.

What’s happening at the show? The Mobile Games Show is organized by Google Play together with the agency Instict3. During the event, influencers Shurjoka, Rezo, Julien Bam and Kalle compete against each other in teams of two.

Teams compete in in-game quests and real-life challenges based on Pokémon GO, League of Legends: Wild Rift, and the indie games Gumslinger and Cats in Time. In Pokémon GO they play in the disciplines of catching, fighting and throwing Poké Balls. During the show you can participate in the show by voting.

In addition, the band Glas Perlenspiel has a performance at the event.

How to watch The event is broadcast both on the Rezo’s twitch channel as well as on the Papfi’s YouTube channel.

Is it worth participating? Basically, you have little effort and you can secure items such as smoke, PokéBalls or lock modules. For that reason alone, the “event” is worth it for you.
