However, a few days ago many of the hidden new features that were available in the latest beta version for Android Auto were leaked, including a change in the interface, the general functionality of the split screen, and much more, and some users They are already testing it, although its deployment to the general public has not yet arrived.

Now thanks to social media, we have new images of the user interface that consumers will encounter once this new update to the vehicle’s operating system is available.

As can be seen on the screen, we see different adjustments related to the design of the interface where what is most striking is the disappearance of the status bar with all the data signal, internet connection, battery indicator and clock icons now having been moved to the bottom right corner of the screen.

Too the dedicated button to show the side panel has been removed, and this role is now served by the home button which, when long pressed, displays retractable widgets.

On the other hand, when there is enough space, the side panel shows a Google Assistant bar with a detailed description of the weather. On the other hand, when you exit the navigation map, the map view now stays fixed on the left side.
