Enola Holmes 2, Daggers in the back 2, Pinocchio… Netflix announces more than 80 movies for 2022

Netflix presented an ambitious plan for 2021 that sought to make as many premieres as possible. For this 2022 it continues with the same strategy and has in mind to release 82 original films.

With the wide catalog of streaming platforms that we have at our disposal, some differentiating factor is more necessary than ever.

Everyone’s goal is clearly to face competitors and Netflix has platforms such as HBO Max, Amazon Prime Video or Disney + at the top.

With this at stake, Netflix wants to put all the meat on the grill and promises up to 82 premiere films starting in 2022. Netflix has shown 28 through a promotional videol that we leave you down here.

It is worth mentioning some such as Daggers in the back 2, The Gray Man, starring Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans, Pinocchio, directed by Guillermo del Toro or Slumberland, starring Jason Momoa.

So without further ado, Let’s go for the catalog of the streaming platform that brings everything and for everyone in this 2022. We leave at the beginning those that already have a scheduled release date:

Perhaps with all this amount of film content planned for this 2022 they want to justify possible price increases, as well as a disastrous 2021 for the platform in terms of new subscriptions.

“We understand that people have more entertainment options than ever before and we are committed to providing an even better experience for our members”a Netflix spokesperson recently said in a statement.

“We are updating our pricing so we can continue to offer a wide variety of quality entertainment options. As always, we offer a range of plans so members can choose a price that fits their budget,” continuous.

The key is that if they want to increase the amount of content, it is an additional expense for the company that must come from somewhere. 222 million subscribers are not enough to pay the 17,000 million dollars of expenses in content.
