Now you can indicate that you don’t like a tweet thanks to this new button that Twitter has integrated

Twitter has finally and for everyone implemented a button that when pressed we will record that we do not like a tweet, although no one else will be able to see this.

The pace of Twitter updates is going at a good pace and the fact is that the social network has a series of additions that, until now, were only available to a fairly closed group of people.

In the last weeks the little blue bird’s social network has started to offer some features to the global public. The latest feature to arrive has been one that many users have been wanting within the app for a long time.

And, it is that, now you can indicate that a tweet you do not like. Yes, you read it right. If a comment on Twitter is not to your liking, you can record it thanks to a new button that will begin to appear from now on.

This button is not new, Twitter started testing it a few months ago. What happened is that a fairly small group was selected for these tests and, logically, many users were left out of testing this feature.

It seems that the button has worked properly and, finally, it will see the light of the great public. The operation is quite simple and, in fact, those of Twitter cover their backs in a great way.

When you think of a button that indicates dislike, what you can think of at first is YouTube. Google’s video platform has had ways to express likes and dislikes for years.

In the case of Twitter the way to indicate that a tweet does not convince you is by clicking on an arrow pointing down. Of course, this arrow is reserved only for replies to a tweet.

Of course, this tweet has to be of its own authorship. What’s more, marking tweets with this button will not be public and, therefore, it will not be appreciated by everyone. Twitter’s decision is based on trying to rid the social network of some hatred.

And, it is that, it is very easy to start marking different tweets with this button, but it is difficult to think about the impact that this may have on users behind the screens.

Now that it is available to all users, we will have to be attentive to see how this feature works and, above all, how it will affect relationships within the little blue bird’s social network and, it is that, it can change quite a lot the way of interacting.
