The 3 most annoying things about the iPhone right now

Apple is characterized by take great care of the user experience and the iPhone is an example of this in most situations. Everything is very intuitive and fast, however there are some exceptions that can be really frustrating.

This is based on my personal experience over the years using iPhone, and there is still 3 really annoying things that Apple has not solved at the moment. Hopefully one day iOS will update and fix it.

Music is cut off with commercials or videos

If you are one of those who listen to music with your iPhone and some AirPods, surely you understand what I mean. It’s getting more and more frustrating to browse Twitter, play games on iPhone, or use ad-supported apps while listening to music. Constantly your music will stop playing for an announcement that has jumped and that plays automatically.

This makes the experience really bad, and Although it is not Apple’s direct fault, the company could set certain limits. It could be fixed with something as simple as forcing sound ads to show a confirmation when listening to music, or a dedicated button in Control Center to “block” music from being interrupted by ads.

The turn of the screen

The iPhone screen rotates thanks to the accelerometer, and this is something very interesting in many circumstances. But nevertheless, doesn’t finish working nicely on iPhoneIt is not an “Apple experience”.

The way the screen flip works has never changed on the iPhone. You can simply let the screen rotate or lock the rotation so that it never rotates. However, this makes using the iPhone while lying down is a “nightmare”.

The only option you have so that a website or app does not rotate is lock the screen rotation, however if a video appears that you want to see in full screen, you must unlock the rotation, and when you finish, lock it again. The iPhone should recognize our face in some way to guess whether or not we want the screen to rotate and offer a less annoying experience.

Volume control for alarms and notifications

It is true that there is no easy way to solve this problem, but the one used by Apple is very unintuitive. The Volume of iPhone notifications and alarms is independent, that is, we can the iPhone at a volume of zero and that the alarm wakes us up with a start sounding at maximum volume.

This can be annoying when you don’t know him, you turn down the volume on the iPhone lock screen, but that doesn’t affect the alarms. It is true that we have a way to adjust the volume from the settings or from the alarm itself, but it is something that could be better solved and that gives you more than one scare.
