Timmendorf with a tailwind into the next duel at Hamburger SV

Ice hockey regional league team CE Timmendorf has returned with a 5:2 victory over Hamburger SV in the fight for fourth place, which entitles them to participate in the championship round. The Beach Devils from the Baltic Sea are only three points behind third-placed Adendorfer EC. And on Sunday (6.30 p.m.) the Ostholsteiner in Hamburg want to follow up with the next three.

Timmendorf back on course after 5:2 against HSV

“We tried to work through everything that wasn’t good in the defeats against Salzgitter and Sande. And the lads implemented that well at times, but especially in the last third we made life unnecessarily difficult for ourselves a few times,” explained CET trainer Michael Pohl after the 5-2 win over HSV.

A victory for the psyche

“The success was important for the psyche of the boys. You put yourself under a lot of pressure after the defeats,” said Pohl. “If we play patiently in Hamburg and force the opponent to make mistakes, we can also win at HSV.”

CET-Torus: Colin Whitt (3rd minute), Jason Horst (6th), Christopher Röhrl (22nd, 60th) and Marco Meyer (51st).
