eFootball 2022: Version 1.0.0 is coming on April 14th, these are the improvements
After the test, we gave up hope that eFootball 2022 would be a really good kick. Nevertheless, we don’t want to withhold from you what Konami intends to do with the free-to-play title.
On April 14, the long-promised version 1.0.0 should finally be released – we’ve looked through the for you infinitely long blog post on the official game website and summarized the most important information and developer statements:
- We were too focused on getting the game out on time that we lost sight of the most important aspect – the quality.
- We have now added new orders and elements (both offensive and defensive) that are common in modern football.
- Additional features such as formation changes, individual orders, automatic selection, sub-tactics and data management.
- Most of the feedback was about defending, so we’re changing the default button settings to make defending more intuitive.
- “Shoulder Charge”: Recovering the ball by shouldering the opposing player.
- “Call for Pressure” : Multiple players aim for the ball, teammates work together to regain the ball.
- We’ve increased pass speed across the board.
- Improved AI decision making and running when receiving passes.
- We’re adding a wide variety of shot variations and trajectories.
- Greater dribbling maneuverability for more realistic one-on-one moves.
- Improved online connectivity by introducing a client-server system.
- In the upcoming update, “Dream Team” will be added as a game mode, so you can build your own team.
- There you can sign your favorite players and coaches. You can then develop the players to suit your personal play style.
- The development team is working flat out on the mobile version of the game to ensure this release is of the highest quality; an announcement regarding the release will follow soon.
