As the trainer killerstellar reports on reddit, he lost his beloved dog a few months ago. Now, with the help of Pokémon GO, he has found a way to deal with this grief and paid his last respects to his dog.
This is how the trainer paid his last respects to his dog
As the title of killerstellar’s reddit post suggests, it’s about his beloved dog, Abel. He was his faithful sidekick in the real world and sadly passed away in September 2021 (via reddit.com).
But now the reddit user has found his very own way to say goodbye to the little Yorkshire Terrier and thus pay his last respects.
What did killerstellar do? As killerstellar explains, his biggest goal now was to get a shiny terribark in order to have his fur nose back with him as his best buddy, at least in a digital way.
After some time, he gained Lucky Buddies status with another trainer a few weeks ago. He owned a dazzling Yorkleff and was willing to give it to him. killerstellar took this chance, developed it into a shiny terribark and of course took it as his buddy in the game.

What happened next? Just in time for his birthday, he and Abel, as he called the shiny terribark, are finally best friends. Full of joy he writes on reddit: “Today, on my actual birthday, we have become best friends. I couldn’t have asked for anything else” (via reddit.com).
