Pokémon GO Launches Egg Event Today Featuring Owei and New Research – All Content

In Pokémon GO, April 16 launches the Egg Message: Spring Surprise Limited Research, bringing with it Owei, Alolan Kokowei, and other bonuses.

What is this event? The big spring event has been running in Pokémon GO for a few days. A mini-event will take place this Saturday, April 16th. This runs for three hours and brings you lots of Owei and Alola Kokowei.

April 16 Egg Event – All Content

When does it start? The start of the event is at 11:00 am. The event runs for three hours and then ends at 2:00 p.m.

What bonuses are there? Spin Photo Discs from PokéStops during the event period to earn Research that rewards you with Owei Encounters.

During the event, you can evolve Owei into Alolan Kokowei, who then master Draco Meteor as a move. Draco Meteor deals 150 damage in Trainer Battles and in Arena and Raid Battles.

In addition, there are twice the amount of experience points for catching Pokémon and the event bonuses of the spring event are also active.

The following Pokémon appear more frequently in the wild during the three hours of the event: Bulbasaur, Myrapla, Paras, Knofensa, Tangela, Endive, Suncore, Geckarbor, and Samurzel. With all of them you have the chance to encounter the Pokémon as Shiny.

There is this research: Trainers have already confirmed many field research tasks associated with the event. All of the research rewards you with Owei encounters. Keep in mind that you need to get the field research during the event to get the new rewards.

• Use 3 berries when catching Pokémon
• Evolve 2 Grass-type Pokémon
• Send 2 gifts with stickers
• Spin 2 PokéStops
• Take a snapshot of a wild Grass-type Pokémon
• Land 5 good throws
• Land 3 good throws in a row
• Land 3 great throws
• Land 2 great throws in a row
• Land 5 curveball throws
• Fight in an arena
• Fight in a raid
• Use a very effective Charged Attack

With all of this research, you’ll have a chance to encounter dazzling Owei. Keep in mind that you need to evolve the Owei during the event in order for Alolan Kokowei to learn the powerful move Draco Meteor.
