VESA standard

Anyone who finds out about TV wall mounts will sooner or later stumble across the term “VESA standard”. This is an internationally recognized standard for mounting TV sets on the wall. Most televisions have screw holes on the back that correspond to the respective Vesa standard.

The size can easily be determined by measuring the distances between the holes, both horizontally and vertically. Once you have determined this size for your TV, you can easily see in the description of a TV wall mount whether it fits your model. If the distance between the screw holes is 300 millimeters horizontally and 300 millimeters vertically, it is called “Vesa 300 x 300”.
