Destiny 2: Server Down for Update 4.0.1. – All patch notes and info

destiny 2 gets update 4.0.1 with possibly bigger changes this Tuesday, April 19th. This is also associated with a downtime on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, on the PC and on Google Stadia. We’ll stay tuned to let you know when the Destiny servers will be unavailable today.

What you need to know today: Bungie announced a server down for April 19th. However, this does not contain a small hotfix, but an update.

Maintenance on 04/19 – All times and server down

These times are important today:

• The maintenance work on all platforms will start at 6:00 p.m. German time.
• The servers will go offline at 6:30 p.m. You will be kicked out of activities, downtime will begin.
• Around 19:00 the servers are supposed to come back online and update 4.0.1 should be available.
• The maintenance work should then be fully completed by 8:00 p.m.

Noticed: Due to the time change, not only the weekly reset, but also the downtime is one hour later. So if everything goes smoothly, you won’t have to do without Destiny 2 for long again.

Also keep in mind that third-party applications and the official companion app cannot be accessed correctly.

This changes with Hotfix 4.0.1 in Season 16

That brings the hotfix today: Bungie already communicated a list of known issues that have yet to be fixed.

However, Bungie did not reveal any details showing what will be fixed today, April 19th. Only issues reported by the community are known.

The players have also reported these errors:

• An increase in the error message MARMOT- is being investigated
• When trying to import friends from other platforms for Bungie Friends, some platforms display an error and are unable to import friends.
• The No Time to Explain portal still shoots at defeated enemies
