CoD Warzone: Season 3 starts the day after tomorrow – the most important things in 3 minutes
The new Season 3 / 2022 of Call of Duty: Warzone goes online on Wednesday, April 27th at 6:00 p.m. We provide you with the most important information in a quick overview on MeinMMO.
When does the new season start? The new Season 3 of Call of Duty: Warzone is called “Classified Arms” and starts on April 27th at 6 p.m. our time.
What is there to know about the update? There will be another major update, but the scope is still unclear. Due to the announced changes, between 10 and 20 GB appear possible.
For the updates of the last seasons there was a preload for the update. Check back on Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning to see if you can start the download earlier.
However, the details of the content and the season update always come shortly before the release. If there is new information, we will update the article accordingly.

Warzone: Season 3 – Monster Assault on Caldera
What is the highlight of the season? “Operation: Monarch” starts on May 11th. The time-limited event brings a special game mode to Warzone that sees movie monsters Godzilla and King Kong roam across Caldera.

What happens at the start of the season? Map changes in the game focus entirely on Caldera. In addition, the developers have announced balance adjustments:
- Map changes Caldera
- New location “Dig Site” on Caldera
- Changes to Peak, Runway, Lagoon
- New Gulag for Caldera
- Gulag “hold” in a ship

Apart from that, the developers have confirmed that some weapon meta changes are coming:
- Sniper meta is set to change in Season 3
- Nerf for the powerful LMG Bren comes in Season 3
There are also improvements to the audio and a new balance for the aim assist for controllers. However, it is still unclear whether this will already come in Season 3.

What weapons come with the Battle Pass? Right at the start of the season you will find 2 weapons to unlock in the Battle Pass:
- M1916 – DMR with 2-shot kills in multiplayer
- Similar weapons are considered rather weak in Warzone
- Nikita AVT – Assault rifle with the highest rate of fire in the class in Vanguard
- Sounds like a sniper support with exciting essays
By the way, before the new Battle Pass comes, you should log into the game again: Warzone fixes broken Battle Pass and promises compensation – but you have to be quick.
What happens later in the season? In the course of the season, 2 more weapons come into play: the melee weapon “Sledgehammer” and the submachine gun “H4 Bixen”.
The map Caldera should also change further. The underground becomes a battlefield and subterranean areas open up for players. A teaser says “The surface is no longer safe”.
However, it is not yet known what these other changes will look like.
Season 3 changes Warzone’s Caldera map and brings a big event with even bigger monsters.
