Dying Light 2: Stay Human: Techland reports: 5 million copies sold

More than 5 years of development, more than 5 million titles sold: In the first month after release, the zombie game made in Poland sold well, despite well-known competition in February.

Techland boss Pawel Marchewka is unsurprisingly pleased with the strong numbers and sees the brand as a prime example of his team creating gaming experiences that gamers resonate with. Dying Light 2: Stay Human (from 56.99 at buy) was released in February together with Horizon: Forbidden West and Elden Ring – admittedly a few weeks before the two – and was able to break the 5 million mark within a month. Incidentally, the predecessor had already sold excellently and sold a total of 20 million units over the years and across all platforms.

And while we’re on the subject of Dying Light 2: On April 27th, the New Game Plus mode will finally be delivered. Techland says:

“In this new game mode, players can find 30 new Inhibitors hidden in less obvious places to maximize their characters’ health and stamina. Also, the difficulty level of the enemies now scales to Aiden’s level. For those who are still after If you are looking for more challenging battles, Techland has prepared encounters with golden tokens. These special encounters are a real challenge for experienced pilgrims and are full of special opponents in all their variants. In addition, new opponents await in the new quest called “Something Big Has Been Here”, that surprise players with mutated infected and new attacks.”
