Gran Turismo 7 is getting new cars soon - which ones do you want?

After a rather bumpy start to Gran Turismo 7, including an ugly patch hiccup, the racing game for PS4 and PS5 has been noticeably uphill in the past few weeks thanks to adjustments to the endgame grind and nice additions such as hourly races. So that the long-term motivation of the service game doesn’t ebb, Game Director Kazunori Yamauchi has now announced possible supplies for your vehicle fleet.

Gran Turismo 7 update announced

When will the update appear? As Yamauchi announced via Twitter, the new content should already appear this week. According to VGC Maintenance work on the servers has been announced for today, so it may well be that the update will go live in a few hours. If this is the case, we will of course keep you informed.

As we already know from GT Sport, Yamauchi likes to tease new cars in a tweet with a picture including silhouettes of the new cars. So you can roughly see which cars await you in his message:

Update 1.11 and 1.12 brought that

After much criticism from the GT community, Polyphony Digital recently tackled the credit grind with Patch 1.11, as well as adding endurance races and new racing events. Patch 1.12 fixed a few bugs a few days ago, including a music bug and an issue with Brand Central invites expiring early.

Will you upgrade Gran Turismo 7 again? Since the question keeps coming up: Tobi and I will talk about a possible upgrade in the coming days. Most recently, we downgraded the game by three points to a score of 85 due to the post-release patches.

What new cars do you want?

Whether in Forza Horizon or Gran Turismo, it’s always exciting how the developers increase the car list after release. There are currently a total of 424 racing cars from karts to Formula 1 cars in GT7. But which cars would you like to see in future updates? Should there be more normal road vehicles from the past decades, more super sports cars or maybe you wish for more fun racers that really have no business on the road?

Or would you like to have a very special car in the game that you may have already driven yourself? If so, which one would that be?
