Gayming Awards 2022: The complete list with all winners
The Life is Strange makers from Dontnod have managed to win three awards with True Colors.
The Gayming Awards entered the second round in 2022 and took place live for the first time. As in 2021, awards were given to video games, board games, comic books and eSports players who have excelled in terms of diversity and inclusivity. A new addition this year is the “LGBTQ Streamer Rising Star” category, which is about streamers who are still relatively unknown but have already made a significant contribution to the LGBTQIA* community in gaming.
Gayming Awards 2022: These are the winners
Life is Strange: True Colors took home three awards. This includes what is probably the most important category of the Game of the Year, in which True Colors prevailed against the equally great games Unpacking, Boyfriend Dungeon and Psychonauts 2. The winners were announced yesterday, April 25th, via a stream from London’s Troxy Theater.

In addition to the 11 categories, there is also the Gayming Icon Award, which honors a person who has had a particularly positive influence on the LGBTQIA* community in gaming. The 2022 award went to Tanya DePass, who, among other things, founded the non-profit organization I Need Diverse Games.
