Pokémon GO: Big Leak shows what you can expect at GO Fest 2022

The big Pokémon GO Fest 2022 will take place in summer. A leak already shows which monsters and activities the event should bring.

What is the GO Fest? GO Fest is the largest annual event in Pokémon GO. Pokémon GO Fest 2022 will be held globally over two days this year:

• On June 04, 2022
• and on June 05, 2022

There will also be a closing event on August 27th, as well as three other events in between, taking place on-site in Berlin, Seattle and Sapporo.

This information was already officially known. Now, however, a leak shows more details.

This is the leak: On the Pokemon GO subreddit “The Silph Road” Many players are already discussing the new information based on descriptions and a new graphic. Here you can find out what you can count on. However, keep in mind that this is still unconfirmed information that has not been officially published.

Is there a ticket? Yes, like in previous years, players will again need an event ticket. The entire event should cost this ticket 15 dollars. Alternatively, there should also be an 11 dollar ticket that is only valid for the final event on August 27th.

However, there will again be content for players who do not purchase a ticket.

Day 1 with habitats and new mysterious monster

What happens on day 1? As known from previous GO Fests, there will be rotating habitats. They then run alternately and bring different spawns with them.

In the event there should be the habitats “City”, “Plains”, “Rainforest” and “Tundra”. All trainers should be able to meet the respective spwns – even without a ticket. Additional content will be added with a ticket. Among other things:

• A special research featuring the new Mythical Pokémon Shaymin. Here you should also be able to choose between several levels of difficulty and a focus on catching, discovering or fighting.
• Increased shiny chance with smoke.
• A global challenge where coaches can earn more bonuses. This is also known from previous GO Fests.
• More Pokémon spawns when you use smoke. Among other things, Unown B, G, O and U are included, as well as monsters such as Galarian mimes or the regional monster Tropius.

Day 2 with new Legendary Pokemon in 5-Star Raid

What happens on day 2? On the second day, all players should be included in the global challenge, regardless of whether they have a ticket or not. In addition, a still unknown Pokémon should appear in 5-star raids. So this is where a legendary monster will make its debut.

In addition, all Pokémon from the previous day appear again.

With Ticket, players should also be able to access another special research that is expected to put Team Rocket in the foreground – because on the day GO Rocket Ballons should appear more and fights bring you more Rocket Radar parts.

Additional bonuses will also be added. These include a costumed Pikachu and the appearance of Milza in one-star raids. This monster has been extremely difficult to obtain and should be an interesting target for many trainers.

You should also get up to 9 raid passes by turning photo discs in arenas and there will be surprises with snapshots again.
