Which buildings should you build first? After the end of the tutorial, your first rough goal should be to develop your town hall to level 3. For this you have to build new buildings or upgrade old ones.

To begin with, the priority is quite simple:

• First you build a gold mine and an elixir collector
• Next you should build the archer tower
• Then you upgrade the cannon and the barracks to level 2
• Finally, you build walls around your village and storage for gold and elixir

This is enough to quickly upgrade your town hall to level 3. That should keep you busy for about the first 2 to 3 hours of the game.

Resources and the right defenses are important

What’s next? Basically, you need resources to construct new buildings, create troops and defend yourself.

Even before the town hall reaches level 4, you should upgrade your sources and stores for gold and elixir – even bring the store up to level 6 – and raise your barracks to level 3. The construction of a first laboratory is also important.

After building the laboratory, you should constantly upgrade it and also use it to improve your troops. This is the first priority after an increase in the town hall.

If you also quickly look for a clan and request defense from there, you should rely on the clan castle. This is an important focal point of your village the entire time.
