Lost Ark: Tomorrow's update irons out your mistakes again - Comes with 4 hours of server down

Lost Ark’s weekly update arrives on April 28th and irons out your mistakes againt.. At least if you weren’t completely careless. We at MeinMMO summarize the update for you.

What’s in the update? The weekly update is of course overshadowed by last week’s big April update and can therefore not keep up in terms of scope. Nevertheless, there are some useful details, adjustments and changes.

The changes mainly affect the currently running events. Including the Express Event and the Guardian Raid Event.

This is the developer’s response to complaints from the community. You can only select and start the express event on a single character, but you simply won’t get anything over Gearscore 1,100. Some players didn’t read this warning and started the event on their main character.

This caused frustration among the players, because they didn’t get anything from the actually very good event. With the update, Amazon is giving these players a hand and ironing out their mistakes again. The announcement was made on April 26th via Twitter and created excitement in the community.

Popular Lost Ark streamer and host Neek2lo comments: “Not 10 minutes before the update and you actually take care of the issue. In addition, you provide a timely solution. Keep it up!” and other people also thank the developers for it.

May update faster than expected

Furthermore, the patch notes give the first prospects for the May update. This should appear in the 3rd week of May. However, the developers point out that this plan can still change and the content of the update is not final.

The patch notes give a glimpse of the future

These are the highlights of the update:

  • You can now switch the selected character for the express event once if you haven’t used up the rewards yet. In addition, the event can no longer be accepted by characters whose Gearscore is over 1,110.
  • The time you have to complete the Express Event has been extended from June 30th to July 28th.
  • The Guardian Raid event will also be extended until May 19th. There are also new rewards for the Guardian Raids event tokens.
  • There have been some changes to the rewards from early game quests that give gold. These no longer give gold. This is to prevent bots from farming.
  • Various bug fixes

How long is the maintenance? The servers will be shut down at 9:00 a.m. German time and are expected to remain offline for 4 hours. According to the current status, you can only leave for Arkesia at 1:00 p.m.

We will of course keep you up to date on the maintenance work in this article.

Since these are relatively small changes, you don’t have to expect a larger download. But we will also keep an eye on that for you.
