Blizzard finally needs a sense of achievement again - will it be Diablo Immortal?

The announcement of the MMOARPG Diablo Immortal for mobile devices was anything but happy. But now the game has been announced for the PC and more Diablo fans are showing interest in it. In the MeinMMO podcast we talk in detail about the history of the game so far.

This is the topic: For a long time, the offshoot Diablo Immortal had a very bad reputation in the gaming community. As a mobile game, it was frowned upon and not considered a “proper Diablo”. After all, the series up to part 3 was exclusively on the PC.

But the feedback from the first tests sounded surprisingly positive and just as surprisingly more like an MMORPG than an A-RPG. There were raids and dungeons, PvP and class changes in the game.

Interest in Diablo Immortal surged when Blizzard announced the game for PC alongside smartphones. It led to even big skeptics agreeing to give the game a shot.

In this episode of the MeinMMO podcast, Alexander Leitsch, Gerd Schuhmann and Benedict Grothaus talk in detail about the A-RPG and its development history to date.
