The MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online names 5 highlights that you should watch when the new major expansion High Isle is released. One of these highlights includes a pirate story, another highlight is a new world boss.

What is the next big ESO expansion? The next major expansion of The Elder Scrolls Online is called “High Isle”, takes you to the island of the same name and will be released in June 2022 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Google Stadia. It’s coming June 6th for PC and Stadia, and June 21st for consoles.

A tale of knightly honor and political upheaval awaits you in High Isle. But there are also new dungeons, a world boss, treasures and a pirate story.

What is the pirate story all about? Ahead of the High Isle release, ESO gives you 5 things you need to do when the new expansion comes out. One of these highlights is called the “Looting of Ghost Harbor Bay”.

The Pillage of Danger Bay is about the pirate IIyes Maul, who is looking for the final resting place of his ancestor in Ghost Harbor Bay and with whom you join forces.

As part of this highlight, you will also explore the remains of a pirate fleet in a new public dungeon. You must survive the deadly spirits trapped inside and unravel the mystery of a dark curse. In addition to monsters and bosses, the dungeon also contains numerous treasures.

Who is the new world boss? In addition to numerous types of monsters, the northern half of the high island is home to the new world boss Gleymos Wildhorn – a two-legged human being with high intelligence.

Since hunting the wild horn can be dangerous, you may need help from allies.

• Help Close Volcanic Fissures: There has been an increase in volcanic fissures. You must find and calm the new cracks by defeating the monsters that have arisen from them. Since this is not an easy task, teaming up with other players to close the volcanic rifts can be advantageous.
• Dive into whaling: The High Island has a sister island in Amenos. However, Amenos is not untouched. Behind the overgrown fauna hide bloodthirsty beasts and the island’s murderous inhabitants. Amidst the harsh environment is Whalefall Delve, a place where humans and animals alike hunt for fun.
• Take a sightseeing tour: In addition to all the adventures, you also have the opportunity to simply explore the islands of the archipelago. A special highlight should be the native Ornaugs, who jump out of the waves at a reef on the southwest coast of the high island.
