Trymacs on GermanLetsPlay exit – “He’ll be back sooner than we think”

On April 23, YouTube veteran Manuel “GermanLetsPlay” B. announced in a video that he would be leaving the platform indefinitely. Some content creators are reacting to the video and Maximilian “Trymacs” Stemmler in particular is pretty sure that GLP will be back soon.

This is the situation around GermanLetsPlay:

• The YouTuber has been active since 2010 and has been uploading Let’s Plays non-stop ever since. With 3.65 million subscribers, he is one of the largest German gaming YouTubers on the platform.
• EnglishLetsPlay, in his farewell video, spoke of a misdiagnosis by doctors who, for 10 years, led him to believe he was going to die soon. When GermanLetsPlay said in the video that he might bring a few videos with big updates, Stemmler said he will definitely come back sooner than everyone thinks:

He will come back like this. (…) He’ll definitely take a break for now, but he’s having too much fun – he’ll 100 percent come back. (…) But you should definitely not annoy him. It will come back sooner than we think.

Furthermore, Trymacs was shocked by the misdiagnoses on the part of the doctors and said that doctors in the USA had already been sued for billions of euros because of wrong diagnoses. The video affected him more than he thought and he wishes GLP a speedy recovery.

What did Paluten say about GermanLetsPlay’s farewell?

The YouTuber deliberately did not react to the GermanLetsPlay video because he is not very good at commenting on such topics.

In addition, Paluten is one of GLP’s best friends and knew about the indefinitely long break even before the video. The two, along with YouTuber Zombey and Maudado, form the viewer-favorite “Freedom Squad.”

Fans have expressed concern that the Freedom Squad is now disbanding, but Paluten denied this, reiterating that the four are more than just fellow YouTubers – they are very good friends.
