You can now play Fortnite on iOS again with a trick - Here's how it works

Fortnite has been removed from the App Store due to changes made by Epic Games. Epic didn’t put up with that and so a legal dispute ignited between the two companies. But now Xbox has created an option that gives players the chance to finally be able to play Fortnite again on Apple devices.

Why was Fortnite banned by Apple? Any app that sells something in their games and is on display in the Apple Store has to cede a percentage of the game’s revenue to Apple. These percentages range from 15% – 30% of the revenue generated.

Epic, however, no longer wanted to be forced to pay these taxes by the corporate giant. Therefore, the prices for the in-game currency “V-Bucks” have been permanently reduced. Now only Epic will take the full profits they make from buying the V-Bucks.

Apple didn’t like that and promptly threw Fortnite out of the App Store. A legal dispute broke out between the two companies, which meant that Fortnite will still not be displayed in the Apple Store until Epic makes these charges again.

However, Xbox is finally giving you the chance to play Fortnite again on iOS devices. We’ll show you how to do it.

So you can finally gamble again on iOS Fortnite

The CEO of Epic Games also advertises the new Xbox method on Twitter and promises no necessary subscription or unnecessary costs that Apple imposes on you.

So in order to be able to gamble on your iPhone or iPad, you need the following things:

  • A Microsoft account
  • An internet connection
  • A device that has a browser

If you have all these things, you log on the Xbox page and you can start gambling immediately with your device.

Will Apple do anything about it? Basically, Microsoft has created a cracked loophole for Epic Games here, in which players have the chance to gamble despite the Fortnite ban.

However, it is unclear whether Apple will put up with it. It will be difficult to do anything about it since everything is done through your browser.

It’s also unlikely that Apple will block Microsoft’s site to prevent you from playing your colorful BR shooter. However, if Apple should comment on this, we will inform you directly.

What do you think of Epic finding a way to make Fortnite playable on iOS devices after all? Do you like it or is this way not official enough for you and you prefer to wait until the Fortnite app works again? Let us know in the comments!
