Destiny 2: Weekly Reset on 5/10. – The last Iron Banner in Season 16

In Destiny 2, the Guardian Games are in full swing. Players are still fighting there for the title of Best Class 2022 and the right to brag about it for 1 year. Note, however, that this is the penultimate Weekly reset ahead of the new Season 17. We’ll tell you what you need to know about this.

This is happening this week: The Guardian Games 2022 are entering the second round. So far, the Warlocks are ahead by a nose and by a full four points. Just behind are the Titans and Hunters with only one point. It remains to be seen whether the two rivals can still catch up with the hovering scholar. But before you can venture into the fray, you have to endure a server down.

Appropriately for the penultimate week of the season, Lord Saladin, or as he is now called Valus Forge, is coming back to offer you a final test of your skills. The final Iron Banner of Season 16 is rolled out, pitting Guardians against each other in tough battles. So participate if you haven’t completed your quests yet and don’t forget to redeem your Iron Banner tokens.

The Dawn: The Crucible is this week’s Strike:

• Birthplace of Evil, in the throne world of Savathûn
  • This time it’s back to sneer as you play the Witch Queen campaign mission as a repeatable story mission. The Witness has given them new power and it is up to the Guardians to put a stop to it.

Playlist strikes have these modifiers:

• Solar Scorch
• brawler
• blackout
• The Singe modifier stays with you throughout the week, the others change daily.

You get these weapons from dawns: Each week, players can obtain specific weapons from the Nightfall Strikes. There are currently six weapons in rotation in the current loot pool. A popular handgun is available this week:

• The Palindrome – 140 Void Hand Cannon

Top Twilights: In order to start in the supreme discipline of strikes, the frontrunner twilight, you need a power level of 1,575. You also fight in competitive mode. This means you’ll be fighting 25 power levels below the peak power level of 1600, requiring tactical and team coordination. In addition, the twilight weapon drops as a master version, i.e. adept.

That happens in the raid “The student’s oath“:

• Complete the easiest challenge in the final encounter of the Vow of the Apprentice raid named this week “Loop Catalyst”. To complete the challenge, your team must maintain at least one stack of the Siphoning Power buff prior to the damage phase on Rhulk.
• As a reward for completing the challenge in the final leg of the Grandmaster Raid this week, there’s a chance for a Master version of the Lubraes Ruin Glaive weapon, Insidious Pulse Rifle, or Forbearance Grenade Launcher. But keep in mind that hard and normal mode share the loot.

That happens in the raid “Glass chamber“:

• In the glass chamber you can do the challenge “Wait a minute…” Accept. You can only kill the wyverns during the encounter when they start sacrificing themselves at the conflux. Which isn’t that easy. If only one person succeeds in sacrificing themselves, you have to start over.
• The time-lost weapon “Vision of Confluence” awaits as a reward in Challenge Mode. The weapon is then guaranteed to come with 2 perks per slot. But keep in mind that hard and normal mode share the loot.

Savathun’s Throne World – Weekly campaign mission

• “The ritual”
  This week, you can play Witch Queen’s eighth campaign mission as a repeatable story mission. You finally face Savathûn in a fight and show her how mortal truth really is.

This is the new max level: In the new Season of the Risen, the maximum power level of your gear is 1,560. This means that the power level at the start of the DLC has increased by +230 power levels compared to the previous season 15. However, all players are also boosted to a base power level of 1350 at launch, and there are many sources to level up quickly.

If you want to quickly reach 1,520 power levels, you only have to complete the legendary campaign. By the way, you will also get one of the new Witch Queen exotics as a gift when you finish.
