If you want to play Gotham Knights on PS4 and Xbox One, you have to be strong now
Robin is one of the playable characters in Gotham Knights.
Almost half a year before the release of Gotham Knights, Warner Bros. released the first official gameplay of two main characters of the game. For 13 minutes you can see what Nightwing and Red Hood are up to and also get a good first impression of the combat and the open world of the game.

In the wake of this publication, Warner also had some interesting news in his luggage. As can be seen from the press material sent along, Gotham Knights will only be released for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. The originally announced versions for PS4 and Xbox One have apparently been discontinued. So everyone with Last Gen consoles is left in the dust and will not be able to play the title without a corresponding hardware upgrade.
Now Gotham Knights is a Next Gen only title
Gotham Knights is now one of the games that will only be released for the current – or often still called “Next Gen” – console generation. It is possible that this gives the developers more leeway in the visual design of the title, but it should already be certain that Gotham Knights will also benefit from advantages such as shorter loading times or faster frame rates.

Gotham Knights is a co-op game from Warner Bros. Games Montreal, who previously developed Batman: Arkham Origins. We don’t slip into the role of Batman here, but into the different characters of the Bat-Family: Nightwing, Robin, Batgirl and Red Hood. If you don’t want to experience the game in co-op with a second person, you can also play Gotham Knights completely in single player like before the Arkham parts.
