Mario Strikers: Battle League is Nintendo’s big summer hit for the Switch. Before the third part of the arcade football series starts in a few weeks, we will now see new material that will give us a better understanding of the content and gameplay of the game. Among other things, Nintendo announced the final launch roster, i.e. all playable characters at the start.

Mario Strikers has ten playable characters to start with

When Battle League launches, you’ll be able to choose from ten different characters. This means that apart from the obligatory kickers like Mario, Yoshi and Co. there are no surprises for the time being. Here is the complete list:

In the comments below the tweet, the fans vent. The consensus: ten characters are just not enough. There’s still a small hope that we’ll be able to unlock other characters, but that’s unlikely – and so does the community, who would much rather see unlockables than updates.
