The Division 2: Season 9 and Free Weekend starting May 13th

That’s long-lived – the ninth season brings new weapons and opponents, and a fresh game mode is also waiting. As a cherry on top, the loot shooter can be tried out for free next weekend.

The currently best IP from Ubisoft is finally getting a second look: In addition to the obligatory title update, the “Hidden Alliance” expansion will be released on May 12th, which of course also has a new final boss ready. In order to blow out his life, however, the players must first, as in “Warlords of New York”, get rid of his followers in the form of four particularly dangerous True Sons. Only then can Captain Lewis get it on. The DLC is free for all Warlords of New York owners.

In addition to new legendary weapons, armor and general improvements, the upcoming update also introduces a completely new game mode: A kind of micro-raid called “Countdown” offers coordinated co-op action for up to eight players; success can only be dreamed of with perfect consultation. Two teams of four start at different points in a power plant and, as the title suggests, only have 15 minutes to complete the task.

With “Know How” there is also a new, interesting-sounding game mechanic: The more experience you gain with the use of different items, the further the basic values, such as armor, skills or damage, can be increased with points earned in this way.

For all players who haven’t yet brought themselves to play Washington DC in The Division 2 (from 2.77 at buy) to pay a visit, from May 13th – 15th you still have the opportunity to try out the currently best co-op loot shooter for free.
