Sword and Fairy is like Final Fantasy in Chinese
Sword and Fairy: Together Forever is actually called Sword and Fairy 7. Since you’ve probably never heard of Sword and Fairy 1-6, the development studio Softstar Beijing decided to rename it, similar to Square in Final Fantasy 4 -6. But don’t worry, just like the great Japanese role model, each Sword and Fairy stands on its own and can be enjoyed independently of the other parts of the series.
This is the story: In the world of Sword and Fairy, which is shaped by a traditional Chinese aesthetic, three clans exist: humans, deities and demons. As is usual in an RPG, you assemble a group of interesting characters, each with their own personality traits, motives, skills, strengths and weaknesses. If it goes into a fight, you can choose which character you want to actively take over.

How to play Together Forever: Unlike the previous installments in the series, Together Forever is an action RPG with real-time combat. You can assign different skills to each character, which they can use in conflicts. At first glance, the combat system is very reminiscent of Final Fantasy 7 Remake.
In addition to the fights, there are also a number of side activities. This includes your so-called “spirits” – little creatures that you can feed and pet. They help you explore the game world. Or you can sit back with a round of cards and try your luck here.

When will Sword and Fairy: Together Forever be released?
There is no exact release date at the moment, but it is in this summer the RPG for PS5 and PS4 should come on the market.
Despite the great graphics, the price is only $29.99which will probably mean a price of 29.99 euros for us.
Unfortunately, there is also a small drop of bitterness: the voice output will only be in Mandarin, and there are no German subtitles. So you should be able to speak English, Japanese or Chinese to really enjoy the story.
