bam! In The Last of Us 2, Ellie just cheekily gets a snowball thrown in her face. The “shooters” are children on a playground – and Ellie is annoyed at first, but then gets involved in a snowball fight. But could she have turned the spoilsport and walked away instead? A YouTube video addresses questions like these.

Can Ellie escape the snowball fight?

It’s all about this: The YouTube channel Speclizer takes on the end-time game and changes some scripted scenes using mods. In an earlier video, the modder tried to change the outcome of the game. The new video answers questions such as: Can you escape the snowball fight?

The modder grabs Ellie’s character model and moves it further and further away from the kids. We can see that they are obviously playing unfairly. At the end of the scene, Ellie is standing on a street that is separated from the playground by large buildings. But the icy projectiles still hit them. Hey kids, you’re caught. The game probably has a built-in fun brake.

Video answers more questions

But that’s not the only question asked and answered in the video. For example, it also shows what happens when Ellie tries to kill Lev at the end of the game. the bullets she fires at him obviously can’t hurt him while he’s in the boat.

The zebra that Abby finds with her father also proves to be a tough nut to crack. No matter what weapon Abby uses, the animal is unimpressed. This is sometimes referred to as “story armor”. If you want to survive, you have impenetrable armor, so to speak. In most cases, the game isn’t exactly “open to change”.

Is there another scene from TLoU2 that you would like to check out for possible variations?
