Zenless Zone Zero is the name of the new game from Genshin Impact developer studio HoYoVerse (formerly known as MiHoYo). Even if some elements of the two titles appear to be very similar, the setting is very different: while Genshin Impact was mainly about a fantasy world reminiscent of Zelda BotW, Zenless Zone Zero takes us into a post-apocalyptic, urban game world.

That’s what it’s about: In Zenless Zone Zero, a mysterious disaster called the Hollows has destroyed civilization as we know it. The supernatural event creates new dimensions on its own, in which monsters called Ethereal roam. Meanwhile, humanity has banded together in the last city called New Eridu, trying to take advantage of the Hollows dimensions.

While the exploitation and exploration of the hollows brings new technology, money and resources, it also attracts money-hungry corporations, gangs, fanatics and conspiracy buffs. This creates tension in the world of Zenless Zone Zero, and we’re in the thick of it. As a so-called proxy, we specialize in helping others explore the new, strange Hollows dimensions.
