That The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra secured its place as the best notebook replacement in our Samsung tablet comparison. The reason for this is its extremely large 14.6-inch AMOLED display, which also scores with a refresh rate of 120 Hertz. This ensures smooth scrolling and also improves pen input. The current S Pen is included, which allows authentic drawing on the tablet with a latency of just 2.6 milliseconds.

The Tab S8 Ultra has two cameras on the front and two on the back: wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle with 12 megapixels each on the front, a 13-megapixel main camera and a 6-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera on the back. The two front cameras are not least useful for video conferences. The battery holds a whopping 11,200 mAh. You can find out how the technology works in everyday life in our comparison test of the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra with the S8+.

That Like the Tab S8 Ultra, the Galaxy Tab S8+ is currently one of the best Android tablets and iPad alternatives on the market. At 12.4 inches, its display is a bit smaller, but still large for a tablet. The Tab S8+ also scores with a 120 Hertz refresh rate for smooth scrolling, and the battery has a capacity of 10,900 mAh.

In contrast to the Tab S8 Ultra, the S8+ is content with 8 GB of RAM. However, this does not detract from the tablet experience. Thanks to its more manageable size, the tablet is also good for surfing the web or playing games on the sofa. The new One UI 4 user interface in particular rounds off the user experience – making it even easier to handle multiple apps at the same time. While the Ultra model primarily serves as a laptop replacement, the Galaxy Tab S8+ is the better all-round model and tablet for hands-on use. That Galaxy Tab S7 FE is the cheapest model in the Tab S7 series. The display measures 12.4 inches like the Tab S7+, but this is a 60 Hertz LCD instead of a 120 Hertz AMOLED. The contrast is therefore less impressive, but the viewing angle stability is decent. The performance is also slightly lower. Instead of a Snapdragon 865+, a Snapdragon 750G with 4 GB of RAM is used.

But the Fan Edition scores with a larger battery: The 10,090 mAh energy storage should enable a battery life of 13 hours – longer than all other S7 variants. So if you are looking for a comparatively large Android tablet for surfing and streaming that is cheaper than the Tab S7 and Tab S8 families, the Galaxy Tab S7 FE is a good choice.

The inexpensive Android tablet competes with Amazon’s Fire tablets. It doesn’t perform as well as the other models in our Samsung tablet comparison and doesn’t have an S Pen, but it has other advantages besides its low price. The Tab A7 Lite has a light aluminum casing, the 5,100 mAh battery lasts a long time and can be charged relatively quickly with a 15 watt power adapter, the storage can be expanded by up to 1 TB via a microSD card. A real recommendation for relaxed streaming or surfing on the sofa.
