The Seven Deadly Sins: Netflix series hit gets anime sequel

With The Seven Deadly Sins Netflix showed a golden touch, because the fantasy anime turned out to be not only a hit series, but also a Spectator favorite. Again and again the anime was among the top titles of the VoD provider and there is still no end in sight, because one new anime series is being worked on.

This upcoming TV series will, like Anime News Network reported on the manga series The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse based. This is the official sequel to the main series, telling a fresh story with new protagonists and adventures.

But what is it actually about? The story begins a few years after the end of its predecessor. King Arthur and his followers are sent to a ominous prophecy remembered that the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, a confederation of Holy Knights, will one day destroy the world.

Fearing that this legend could become a reality in the future, the King’s Holy Knights set out to face the danger to nip in the bud. To their amazement, however, it is the messengers of evil nor about young men and no trained warriors. The first 2 seasons of “The Seven Deadly Sins” were created in Studio A-1 Pictures (“Fairy Tail”).
