What is Twitch? Twitch is a streaming platform where pretty much anyone with a webcam or device that supports streaming software can broadcast whatever they want – as long as it’s nothing illegal. Some even try crazy world records. Potentially tens of thousands of people can then watch him do it.
A veritable cult has formed around these “streamers” and Twitch itself in recent years. Many streamers have their own inside jokes and a certain connection with their viewers, which is often reinforced with things like community meetings.
