Cyberpunk anime: Netflix releases first pictures and reveals when we will learn more



Netflix and CD Projekt want to be there by 2022 Cyberpunk: Edgerunners release an anime set in the sci-fi universe created by inventor Mike Pondsmith. So far, however, information has been scarce. In the course of the announcement of Geeked Week, an in-house festival of the streaming provider, there were at least the first pictures to be seen that roughly reveal where the journey is going stylistically.

When will there be more information? the Geeked Week as a virtual fan festival takes place from 06.-10. held in June this year. Among other things, genre films, upcoming series and games will be shown.

The information about Edgerunners is still quite scarce. It is known that the anime takes place in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe and tells an independent story here. It is supposed to be about the survival of a still nameless street kid who joins the Edgerunner faction and is trained as a mercenary here.
