The last few months have been marked by some dry spells in terms of PS5 drops and sales. Only Sony’s in-house store PlayStation Direct proved to be a reliable retailer. There is now an opportunity to buy a PS5 there almost every week.

As usual for Sony, personalized email invitations were sent to selected PSN users yesterday afternoon. This link will take you to the Sony shop and you can purchase a PS5 and the corresponding accessories. It is therefore best to check your spam folder to see if you are one of the lucky ones.

In the past, there was often a public sale after the exclusive sale. Whether this will also be the case today cannot be said at the present time.

When will the sale start? As usual for Sony factory sales, the sales campaign starts again today at around 10:30 am. Unfortunately, since the contingents at this dealer have always been quite manageable and were therefore usually sold out after 15-20 minutes, it really pays to be on time.

how to pay According to Sony’s official FAQ, there are currently only two payment methods (via direct.playstation.com). Unfortunately, at the moment you can only pay with Visa or Mastercard at PlayStation Direct in Germany. There are still no other options.
