PS Plus: Free games June – Leak assumes horror hit

A new leak suggests that horror fans will soon be able to enjoy a free game from Bloober Team on PS Plus for PS5 and PS4.

Hamburg – Players don’t have to wait much longer before Sony lets its new PS Plus for PS5 and PS4 out of the bag. As already announced, the subscription service will be converted from June and undergo a general overhaul. The new PS Plus package should include almost 400 free games for PS5 and PS4. Sony recently released a first look at the game selection of the new PS Plus. But a new leak wants to know more: Apparently, the games catalog of the horror professionals from the Polish Bloober Team could be included in the new PS Plus for free.

PS Plus: Among the free games for PS5 could be The Medium

Where did the PS Plus leak to Bloober Team come from? An alleged one has been dormant online since April 18th document by Sony and the developer Bloober Team. It contains an agreement between the two parties that selected games from the Bloober team will be published via a new Sony distribution system. If you put one and one together, you will quickly conclude that this distribution system will probably be the new PS Plus.

Until recently, Sony kept a low profile on which free games will be included in the new offering, but now they have released a first list of free games for PS Plus Extra and Premium. In this context, Ubisoft + should now also be part of PS Plus. So far, however, no title from the Bloober team can be found among the announced games for PS5 and PS4. However, it is quite possible that this will change quickly. A release of The Medium, the Bloober Team’s last title, for the normal free games of PS Plus in June also seems possible. The Medium is therefore currently one of the hottest candidates for the upcoming PS Plus games – but Sony has not yet officially confirmed anything for June.

PS Plus: Bloober Team is rumored to be developing new Silent Hill for PS5

Which PS5 game is Bloober Team currently working on? It is not officially clear which game the horror professionals from Poland are currently working on. However, the internet is pretty sure that the Bloober team is secretly working on the next part of the Silent Hill series. Gaming insider and Venturebeat editor Jeff Grubb currently even assumes that the Bloober Team’s Silent Hill game will be released exclusively for the Sony PS5. Officially, however, the Bloober Team is still keeping a low profile on such speculation.

However, a Silent Hill exclusive to the Sony PS5 would fit perfectly into the picture of the Bloober team’s potential PS Plus games. The next few weeks will show whether the rumors are really true. The expected announcements of Silent Hill and the Bloober Team games in the new PS Plus program may even coincide.
