Disney Plus will soon revise its subscription model and will also offer an option with advertising. The first details on the implementation of this plan are now available in a report by Variety known.
Accordingly, the commercial breaks on four minutes an hour restrict. Disney would offer fewer ads per hour than other streaming services that already use commercials. NBC’s Peacock shows about five minutes of commercials an hour, HBO Max also shows four minutes of commercials, and Hulu runs nine to 12 commercials an hour.
In terms of content, the advertising should address the family-friendly values hold by Disney. So no spots will be shown that deal with the consumption of alcohol or political content. Also advertising for entertainment offers of the competition should not be allowed.
