GreedFall 2: The Dying World: New role-playing game coming to Xbox Series X|S in 2024

A sequel to the role-playing game GreedFall has been announced, the content of which starts before the events of the first part.

After the success of GreedFall, with over 2 million copies sold, NACON and the development studio Spiders are pleased to announce a new game: GreedFall 2: The Dying World.

Continuing the winning formula of the first game, GreedFall 2: The Dying World is an RPG that focuses on story and player choice, while also offering new gameplay in the form of more tactical combat and revisiting the unique universe of the predecessor.

The story begins three years before the events of the first game and the adventures of De Sardet. This time, players take on the role of a native of Teer Fradee, who was forcibly evicted from his island and taken to the continent of Gacane, where the colonists are from.

In this ancient, war-torn world, scarred by the Malichor plague and the political intrigues of the various factions, players must regain their freedom and take control of their own destiny.

With the help of diplomacy, subterfuge, or combat, and the help of allies they’ve found, it’s up to them to end one man’s ambitions of conquest that could mean the end of the continent and their island.
