World Seed is an interesting sandbox MMORPG where your character has only one life and the battles are automatic. Your task is to choose the right strategy and equipment to advance further into dangerous areas. The game isn’t for everyone, but currently has 91% positive reviews on Steam. It is developed by a single person.
What kind of game is this? World Seed has little in common with classic MMORPGs. At the start of the game you give your character a name and you are then in a world of hexagons. Each hexagon offers a different challenge for you to overcome. The fights are completely automatic.
However, the further you move from the start, the more difficult the game becomes. And you only have one life in World Seed. If you fail in a fight, your character is gone forever.
In order to master the challenges, you must equip your character and provide it with the appropriate skills. Crafting and tactics play an important role. The world of the MMORPG is procedurally generated and changes every hour.

What exactly happened now? World Seed has existed as an early access title for a while Steamand officially celebrated its full release on May 17, 2022. This was accompanied by an update that made adjustments to the user interface, the instances and the loot.

Who is behind the game? World Seed is being developed by Kortes, a single programmer. According to reviews, he should be very active in a game himself and take the feedback to heart. So it’s quite possible that the MMORPG will be further developed by him in the long term.
