Revealed: This is the highest-grossing Marvel series on Disney Plus
DisneyPlus is on an absolute road to success and at the moment it should only be a matter of time before the home of Mickey, Marvel and Star Wars also overtakes Netflix – no wonder it is sent streaming provider with the red N due to price increases, massive layoffs and canceled series, but slowly but surely.
A big pillar of Disney Plus are of course the Marvel Productions: While superhero movies like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness still draw crowds to the cinema, series featuring characters like Hawkeye, Wanda Maximoff and the Moon Knight the fans on their home screens.
Most successful Marvel series: Loki outwits everyone
Revealed at a presentation to advertisers Marvel boss Kevin Feige (via deadline) now personally, which of the Marvel series is actually the most successful on Disney Plus and was able to lure the most viewers to watch. The answer is less clear than one might think, after all several of the current productions were allowed to bathe in the public limelight.
According to Feige, however, the top of the comic series leads Loki to: The prankster god from Asgard could not only the characters in MCU, but also enchant the audience. According to Feige, the adventures of Loki, who comes into conflict with the time authority known as TVA, was a “wild ride that paid off”.
There were no exact figures, but Feige emphasized once again that Loki will receive a second season, the production of which is expected to begin in the next few weeks. More fodder for Marvel fans came in the form of the first trailer for upcoming comedy series She-Hulk, but it sparked mixed feelings.
Some fans have already criticized the CGI effects and described them as “silly” or “out of date”. Also the appearance of the protagonist She-Hulk aka Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) could not inspire everyone: A few fans wrote that the lawyer was not nearly muscular enough in her superhero form. You can then decide whether this will also be the case in the finished series from August 17th judge when She-Hulk launches on Disney Plus.
