Sony’s new colored PS5 side panels are coming soon and the days of the white console are finally numbered
So far, only the red and black side panels have been available for the PS5 alongside the white original.
The PS5 design was not only met with approval at launch: many fans wanted other colors than the ugly white they wanted. Their prayers were answered and after a while red and black side panels also went on sale. The DualSense controller has been available in three additional colors for some time now. Exactly these will soon also be available as side parts on the market. So you finally have more choices on the console.

That’s what it’s about: The PS5 only comes in white, but you can currently buy black and red side panels to swap them out. With Nova Pink, Starlight Blue and Galactic Purple, three more colors for the side panels will soon be added. You have been able to buy the DualSense controller in these three colors for some time now.
In a post on the Official PlayStation Blog it has now been announced that the side panels in the new colors finally have an official date. They were announced some time ago, but weren’t available yet. But that won’t be long now. This is what the PS5 covers look like:

When will the new colors be available? The date has finally been set: All you have to do is wait until June 17, 2022. Then you can open the three new colors of the PS5 cover direct.playstation.com order if you live in the US, UK, France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands or Luxembourg. If things go as with the controllers, the three new colors will later also be available in regular stores.
